TechFlow news: According to official announcements, StarkNet will host StarkCity in London on March 13, where Chakra—the ZK-powered Bitcoin restaking project—will unveil a major partnership plan.
Reportedly, Chakra is the world's first zero-knowledge proof (ZKP)-based Bitcoin restaking protocol, aiming to enhance Bitcoin’s utility through ZKP and enable cross-chain compatible restaking. As the first upcoming use case of Madara, Chakra not only expands the application scenarios within the Starknet ecosystem but also provides new entry points for Bitcoin holders and users into Starknet.
Chakra was previously highlighted by Starknet during the ETH Denver StarkCity event on February 28.
Francis from the Starknet Foundation stated that Bitcoin holds greater advantages over Ethereum regarding proof-of-stake security. Bitcoin’s token distribution is more decentralized with nodes spread globally, making the services provided by the Bitcoin network more decentralized and secure.
