TechFlow reports that RWA protocol Ondo Finance has announced the launch of Ondo Global Markets on the X platform. This includes broker-dealers with accounts at traditional trading, clearing, and settlement venues, who will accept customer orders not only via API and web applications but also through smart contract calls and token transfers on the intelligent trading platform. Customer authorization to place such orders will be granted in the form of blockchain tokens (similar to API keys).
The platform enables bringing all publicly traded securities on-chain and provides native access to liquidity from traditional stock exchanges such as Nasdaq, New York Stock Exchange, and London Stock Exchange.
