TechFlow reports that Shiba Inu will launch a new privacy-focused network on top of the Shibarium blockchain. Shiba Inu is collaborating with open-source cryptography company Zama to develop this unnamed network. The specific mechanism involved is called Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), a privacy tool that enables developers to process data within untrusted environments without requiring decryption.
Shiba developers state that this move will enhance on-chain privacy for SHIB token holders and help protect their personal and transaction data.
Additionally, the Shiba Inu ecosystem token (TREAT) will power the "new privacy layer."
