TechFlow News: LSD stablecoin protocol Prisma Finance has announced the launch of a new stablecoin, $ULTRA. $ULTRA is a novel stablecoin issued by PrismaLRT, designed to unlock liquidity for Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRTs).
PrismaLRT is a new protocol purpose-built to realize the full potential of LRTs. It will be integrated into the Prisma UI, allowing users to easily borrow against their LSTs or LRTs. The protocol will initially support Ether.fi's weETH, with plans to add more assets over time.
PrismaLRT will be governed by the PRISMA DAO, enabling locked PRISMA token holders to vote and shape the protocol’s future. This protocol will serve as a cornerstone for Prisma’s expansion within the LRT ecosystem, unlocking new market opportunities for both PRISMA and LRT holders.
