TechFlow news, according to The Block, Bitwise recently became the first spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) issuer to publish its fund wallet. However, this has come with a series of unexpected gifts: users have sent small amounts of Bitcoin and other assets to the wallet, totaling over $5,000.
Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan said all these assets will benefit BITB shareholders. According to the fund's S-1 filing, if Bitwise receives assets involuntarily, it may sell them and distribute the cash proceeds proportionally to shareholders.
