TechFlow news, according to The Block, a notice filed by U.S. authorities revealed that the U.S. government plans to dispose of nearly 2,875 bitcoins—valued at $117 million—seized in 2021 from Ryan Farace and Sean Bridges, "in the manner directed by the U.S. Attorney General." Additionally, approximately 59 bitcoins belonging to Farace are included. At the time of filing, the total value of the seized bitcoins was about $133 million.
It is reported that the U.S. Department of Justice charged suspect Farace, also known as Xanaxman, in 2018 for selling illegal goods on the dark web, and confiscated the related funds in 2021.
