TechFlow reports that Wombat Exchange, a multi-chain stablecoin swap protocol, has launched its "WomPets" initiative aimed at addressing challenges in DeFi user onboarding, sustainable liquidity incentives, and user retention and motivation within GameFi.
WomPets is a cross-chain "Gamified Bribe Market" that introduces gamification elements into the DeFi bribe market by collaborating with games, NFTs, metaverses, and intellectual properties, providing sustainable incentives for liquidity providers, swappers, and stakers.
The project will partner with Animoca and introduce a cross-chain points system to encourage users to earn WomPets Points (WPP) by swapping, providing liquidity, staking, and holding specific assets and NFTs on Wombat Exchange.
