TechFlow reports that ENS lead developer nick.eth has posted a draft proposal on X to upgrade ENS's DNSSEC functionality, enabling support for the new Gasless DNSSEC.
Gasless DNSSEC will allow anyone with a DNS name to enable it in ENS by setting a DNS text record. Configuring a properly formatted text record will immediately set up the name to resolve in any application supporting ENS.
