TechFlow news: The open social app Damus has posted a tweet stating it refuses to accept 50,000 NOSTR tokens (worth approximately $200,000) sent via the Lightning Network's Nostr Assets Protocol.
Damus called the act a "sybil scam," attempting to legitimize itself by leveraging the name "nostr" in order to deceive people. It clarified that while it is currently seeking grant funding, it will not resort to token scams. "Please send your junk tokens elsewhere," it said.
