TechFlow News — The IOTA network's ShimmerEVM initiative plans to integrate LayerZero's cross-chain messaging technology, enabling users to interact and transact across multiple networks.
Initial connectivity via the Shimmer bridge will link to other blockchains including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Base, Arbitrum, and Optimism.
ShimmerEVM is part of the IOTA ecosystem, allowing developers to build applications and features on Shimmer that are not yet available on the main IOTA network, before migrating them to the primary IOTA network.
