TechFlow reports that Jeremy Horn, co-founder of game studio Overworld, has acknowledged issues including over-allocation and bot attacks during recent minting events, and has taken full personal responsibility for the community's frustration and disappointment caused by these problems.
To compensate affected users, Overworld will roll out a compensation plan including: distributing Manacite Chest NFTs to users who participated in the whitelist mint, offering bonuses and rewards to all whitelisted participants, providing exclusive event NFTs (with further details to be announced in the coming weeks), and granting additional Manacite rewards to minters and early buyers through periodic pre-launch holding snapshots.
