TechFlow reports, according to UK court documents, Craig Wright's Tulip Trading must prove ownership of 110,000 bitcoins (BTC), related to a 2021 lawsuit filed against Bitcoin developers.
Earlier, the Bitcoin Legal Defense Fund submitted a preliminary issue application to the UK High Court, stating that Craig Wright does not own the 111,000 BTC he claims to have lost. If he were the rightful owner, it would imply his admission to having stolen approximately 80,000 BTC worth around $2 billion. Should Craig Wright be recognized as the owner of the bitcoins in addresses beginning with 1Feex, he would effectively be admitting to being the person who stole 80,000 BTC from Mt. Gox, as it is widely accepted within the cryptocurrency community that the bitcoins in 1Feex-addresses originated from the March 2014 Mt. Gox hack.
