TechFlow reported that Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse commented on the SEC lawsuit, stating that Ripple has already spent over $150 million in legal fees. If the SEC's case ultimately reaches the Supreme Court, Ripple will continue to fight the SEC to the end.
Additionally, Garlinghouse believes the SEC's stance on cryptocurrency is a major obstacle hindering industry development. While the U.S. continues to express hostility toward cryptocurrency, other countries—including Japan, Switzerland, Australia, and the UK—have established clear regulatory frameworks to help the industry thrive. Despite the current situation in the U.S., Garlinghouse maintains that the United States still has the potential to become a global leader in the crypto space.
