Asset management firm Vanguard Group will not launch a bitcoin ETF
Vanguard Group CEO Tim Buckley recently said the company will not pursue a bitcoin ETF like competitors BlackRock and Fidelity. A spokesperson stated that the reason for not launching a bitcoin ETF is the same as why it has never launched a gold ETF—bitcoin lacks "intrinsic value," generates no cash flow, and is too volatile.
