TechFlow News — Hong Kong-listed company Linekong Interactive Group is launching BTC NEXT, a Bitcoin network ecosystem investment management fund with a scale of $15 million.
According to Wang Feng, co-founder of Element and founder of Linekong Interactive, BTC NEXT is essentially a seed fund that will be fully dedicated to participating in emerging crypto assets within the Bitcoin network ecosystem, covering various types of asset issuance protocols, trading markets, scaling solutions, virtual machines, NFTs, RWAs, and GameFi projects that have already emerged.
This year, Linekong Interactive has successively launched LK Venture, a Web3 research and investment brand, and NAGA, an all-in-one Web3 gaming platform.
BTC NEXT aims to engage as early as possible in research and investment in Bitcoin network ecosystem assets, regularly disclosing its cryptocurrency portfolio and updating the list of Bitcoin ecosystem crypto assets it invests in.
Linekong Interactive was founded in March 2007 and listed in Hong Kong on December 20, 2014. During his tenure at Kingsoft Software, founder Wang Feng oversaw business lines including utility software, online games, and computer information security products. After stepping down as CEO of Linekong Interactive in 2018, he went on to found Mars Finance, Mars Cloud Mining, Consensus Lab, and Element, a multi-chain aggregated NFT marketplace. At the end of 2022, invited by the group's board of directors, he returned to lead Linekong Interactive and has been vigorously driving the company’s integration into Web3.
