TechFlow news — Digital collectibles platform Authentick has announced a $4 million seed funding round led by venture capital platform Menyala.
Authentick aims to make it easier for users to purchase and verify digital collectibles or NFTs without requiring specialized Web3 wallets or exchange access. Their platform converts digital collectibles into formats that can be listed on existing e-commerce platforms such as Lazada, and used to unlock features in games and applications. The funding will help expand Authentick's user base and product offerings.
The company plans to collaborate with brand partners to manage the distribution of digital collectibles, enabling more users to purchase these items through major online retailers.
Authentick CEO Boyko Draganov said this marks the first step toward realizing the vision of a digital asset platform, with future additions including services and products such as an Authentick-hosted wallet.
