TechFlow reports that in response to the news "MetaMask has been removed from the Apple App Store," MetaMask product manager Taylor Monahan stated they are actively investigating what happened and will resolve the issue as soon as possible. The removal of MetaMask from the Apple App Store is not a security incident, so there is no impact on users who have already installed the MetaMask app.
Monahan added that if counterfeit MetaMask apps are found on the App Store, users should report them.
