TechFlow reported on October 13 that the stablecoin trading project Finance tweeted about a security incident occurring between 11:29 AM and 2:17 PM Beijing time on October 12, resulting in approximately $2.2 million loss from the sAVAX-AVAX pool. The team paused the pool at 2:50 PM and initiated an investigation. With assistance from security platform Supremacy, they successfully recovered around 50,000 sAVAX and 7,000 AVAX from one of the attackers. The team is working closely with security experts to identify and fix the vulnerability. The Platypus pool will not be restarted until these issues are fully resolved and security measures have been strengthened.
