TechFlow reports that Polygon Labs has proposed ApeCoin DAO to use the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) to build a zero-knowledge proof-based Layer-2 (zk-L2) blockchain, aiming to drive growth and development of the ApeCoin ecosystem.
The plan includes creating and maintaining a dedicated ApeCoin zk-L2 chain ("ApeChain"), with partners responsible for building Web3 infrastructure and tooling products in collaboration with Polygon Labs, as well as a development fund drawn from the ApeCoin DAO treasury to support projects integrating ApeCoin and public goods related to ApeChain.
