TechFlow news, according to CoinDesk citing a legal document, SBF's lawyer wants to question FTX co-founder Gary Wang on whether he relied on legal advice when approving a series of loans tied to the affiliated hedge fund Alameda Research.
Prosecutors have investigated about $200 million to $300 million in loans that Gary Wang received from Alameda Research, which he used for venture investments and to purchase a home for himself in the Bahamas.
SBF argues that the involvement of lawyers indicates he was unaware the company loans were improper, and has therefore requested Judge Lewis Kaplan to allow questioning of Gary Wang on this matter.
