TechFlow news, according to Decrypt's report, after NounsDAO completed its fork on Friday evening, more than half of the Nouns NFT holders chose to leave.
Of the 846 Nouns NFTs, owners of 472—nearly 56% of the collection—joined the fork and withdrew nearly 16,757 ETH (currently worth $27.3 million) from the current Nouns DAO treasury into the new DAO organization.
Since the project’s debut in 2021, it has spent millions of dollars’ worth of ETH funding a series of Nouns-themed initiatives aimed at expanding the brand's influence.
The value of Nouns NFTs has significantly declined since their peak at the end of 2021 and early 2022. Data shows that the floor price of the NFT collection in USD terms (ETH converted to USD) has dropped from a high of $267,000 on December 2021 to around $57,740 today.
