TechFlow reports that cross-border payment platform Parallax has announced a $4.5 million seed funding round led by Dragonfly, with participation from Circle Ventures, General Catalyst, gumi Cryptos Capital, Palm Drive Capital, Comma Capital, Firsthand Alliance, and angel investors including Balaji and Zach Abrams. The new funds will be used to further expand the team and scale operations.
Parallax's initial product allows users outside the United States to open virtual USD accounts and receive USD payments using only a passport. The team is currently building and expanding stablecoin-based cross-border payment capabilities.
