TechFlow news: In early September, zkMe partnered with QuestN to launch a facial-feature-based DID encryption verification system, enabling "one person, one vote" in Web3. Compared to Worldcoin's iris recognition, zkMe extracts facial features via mobile devices and applies fully homomorphic encryption, performing computations solely on encrypted data—making the process simpler and more privacy-preserving.
This technology is currently patent-pending and represents a major breakthrough in preventing Sybil attacks, enabling fairer community governance and equitable distribution of rights and benefits.
Encrypted facial features can also be used for asset ownership verification and facial risk-control strategies similar to WeChat or Alipay, preventing account theft and asset loss.
User data remains completely private throughout the process and is never exposed to any third party. zkMe is committed to advancing a fairer and more privacy-respecting Web3 ecosystem.
