TechFlow news: The Web3 social protocol Lens Protocol has officially launched its V2 version. Centered on openness and composability, shared incentives, trust, and security, the new version enables users to directly execute external smart contract operations within Lens publications and interact with smart contracts inside social media platforms.
The V2 release introduces third-party contract operation permissions, including functionalities such as adding whitelist capabilities, minting NFTs on Sound.xyz (Ethereum mainnet), and minting NFTs on OpenSea (Polygon).
In addition, an asset management feature has been added, allowing users to delegate operations to any wallet, store their profile directly on a hardware wallet, and use it from another wallet.
The new version also supports storing DAO or community profiles in multi-signature wallets, enabling usage from one or more addresses, thereby ensuring profile security and access control.
Lens Protocol V2 further enhances profile security by introducing Profile Guardians, which provide integration support between profiles and ERC-6551.
