TechFlow news, on March 21, according to Huobi official announcement, Huobi has partnered with TRON and DMC Labs to launch the Dominica Metaverse Bound Token (DMBT), a government-authorized metaverse-bound token of the Commonwealth of Dominica. This marks Huobi's deeper exploration and expansion within the Web3.0 ecosystem. DMBT serves as proof that its holder is a verified Dominica Metaverse Digital Citizen (DMDC) and features non-transferability, revocability, and uniqueness.
According to the announcement, users who complete Huobi’s KYC-L3 identity verification can claim a Dominica Metaverse Digital Identity (DDID) and become a DMDC, thereby gaining eligibility to mint and create DMBT on-chain. Users holding DMBT can receive a physical copy of the Dominica Metaverse Identification Card (DMIC) upon payment of a nominal processing fee. As verified DDID holders, they may enjoy multiple online and offline benefits linked to both the metaverse and real world.
