TechFlow News — dForce has tweeted that the attacker has returned all stolen funds to the project's multi-signature addresses on Arbitrum and Optimism. All affected users will be compensated, and the team will release details regarding fund distribution in the coming days. Shortly after the attack, dForce communicated with the attacker (white-hat hacker). dForce has agreed to provide a bounty and drop all ongoing investigations and law enforcement actions.
Earlier reports from PeckShield indicate that the attacker appears to have returned $3.65 million worth of stolen funds to dForce, including 1,237 ETH on Arbitrum and 1,127.59 ETH on Optimism.
On February 11, dForce stated that the team had been collaborating around the clock with security firms and partners to trace the attacker’s IP footprints and track down the stolen funds. Meanwhile, dForce had filed a legal complaint with relevant law enforcement authorities to pursue the case. The previously announced bounty program remains valid if the attacker returns the funds.Source
