TechFlow news — Omi, a French startup specializing in brand modeling, 3D rendering, and Web3 marketing, has announced the completion of a €6 million seed funding round. The round was led by Dawn Capital, with participation from angel investors including Marc Ménasé (founder of Founders Future), Alexis Bonillo (co-founder of Zenly), Daniel Marhely (founder of Deezer), and Laurent Ritter (co-founder of Voodoo), as well as institutional investors such as Pareto Holdings, Financière Saint James (family office of the co-founder of Veepee.com), Motier Ventures (family office of Galeries Lafayette), and Famille C Venture (family office of Clarins).
Hugo Borensztein, CEO and co-founder of Omi, said the company will help businesses more easily integrate into Web3 experiences such as augmented reality and the metaverse, while exploring technological and cultural challenges related to smart contracts and NFT-based distribution of 3D content.
