TechFlow news — One week after Terra founder Do Kwon launched the Terra reconstruction plan, Do Kwon reached out to South Korea's five major cryptocurrency exchanges (Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, and Gopax), requesting them to relist Luna and support airdrops when Luna 2.0 launches.
Reportedly, the contacted Korean exchanges took a firm stance toward Terraform Labs' request, stating, "If you want listing, go through the official listing process. Exchanges don't have separate airdrop plans to distribute new tokens to token holders." However, Upbit said it would support an airdrop of the new Luna token if the reconstruction plan is approved. An Upbit executive explained, "Airdrops are meant to support existing token holders."
