TechFlow news — InfiniGods, a blockchain gaming studio, has raised $9 million in seed funding led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Framework Ventures, Jefferson Capital, Animoca Brands, Double Peak, and others.
InfiniGods develops web and mobile games featuring mythological elements, incorporating gameplay mechanics such as puzzles, strategy, and city-building. The studio plans to use the seed funds to launch three games in 2022, alongside developing a governance token and NFTs with in-game utility.
Owen O’Donoghue, co-founder of InfiniGods, previously spent 11 years at Meta (formerly Facebook), where he helped grow Meta's gaming division and supported game developers in launching, monetizing, and scaling their games. The other co-founder, Damon Gura, brings 25 years of experience in the gaming industry and founded the social and mobile gaming company DGN Games in 2014.
