TechFlow news — Cryptocurrency management firm Coinpanion has announced an increase in its seed funding round from last autumn’s €1.8 million to a total of €5.5 million. The latest funding round includes participation from Wicklow Capital, Ledger, Blockchain.com, NYDIG, Crusoe Energy Systems, and angel investors Andreas Kupke, Moritz Thiele, and Michael Pötscher. Additionally, existing investors Florian Gschwandtner, Hansi Hansmann, and High-Tech Gründerfonds participated in the extension.
Alexander Valtingojer, CEO and founder of Coinpanion, said the company plans to rapidly expand into other countries while further developing its presence in Austria. In addition to enhancing app features, the team aims to introduce more investment opportunities within its existing services.
In August last year, Coinpanion announced the completion of its initial €1.8 million seed funding round led by German venture capital fund High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF).
