TechFlow News, April 12 — cBridge, the cross-chain payment network launched by Celer Network, announced support for PlatON, the privacy-preserving AI computing network. Users can now use cBridge to perform high-speed, low-cost cross-chain transfers of WETH, WBTC, USDC, USDT, DAI, GRT, and LINK between Ethereum and PlatON. Additionally, both parties will collaborate on establishing an "Open Native Asset Standard" to enable multi-chain scalability.
Previously, Celer published a proposal advocating for an "Open Native Asset Bridge Standard," introducing a multi-minter asset contract model for cross-chain native assets. This allows multiple bridge solutions to be used simultaneously across protocols and chains, eliminating vendor lock-in.
