TechFlow news — On March 30, Chinese AR glasses manufacturer Nreal announced the completion of a $60 million Series C+ funding round led by Alibaba. Nreal stated that the funds will be used to increase R&D investment, expand diversified application scenarios, and accelerate market expansion. Alibaba is expected to collaborate with Nreal, as it has already announced plans to launch AR glasses for virtual meetings this year.
In its statement, Nreal mentioned that over the past 12 months, the company has raised a total of $200 million in funding, with investors including Kuaishou, NIO Capital, Yunfeng Capital, Sequoia China, and Hillhouse Capital.
