TechFlow News – According to CoinDesk, gaming guild Avocado Guild has secured an $18 million Series A funding round led by Animoca Brands, achieving a post-money valuation of $200 million. Investors include Three Arrows Capital, Golden Tree Management, Solana, Hashed, and Binance Capital Management.
Brendan Wong, co-founder and CEO of Avocado Guild, described the guild as a "metaverse within the metaverse," enabling players to participate across multiple virtual worlds.
The guild plans to use the funds to expand its operations into other play-to-earn (P2E) games and scale up its scholarship program to over 10,000 members. Avocado Guild currently has 7,000 members, primarily from the Philippines and Indonesia.
