TechFlow News — The Dogecoin Foundation, originally established in 2014 by the Dogecoin development team, has announced its reformation, reaffirming its focus on supporting the Dogecoin ecosystem, community, and advancing the future of the Dogecoin blockchain. In the coming weeks, new initiatives will be unveiled to complement the existing core wallet, enabling faster integration and simpler APIs for financial, social, and charitable projects seeking to utilize Dogecoin.
According to the official website, the Foundation's board currently consists of five directors: Gary Lachance, founder of DDP; Jens Wiechers, Head of Legal and Governance; Michi Lumin, Dogecoin Core Developer and Chief Engineer; Ross Nicoll, Dogecoin Core Developer; and Timothy Stebbing, F/OSS Community Product Lead. The board of advisors comprises four members: Jared Birchall, financial and legal advisor representing Elon Musk; Max Keller, Technical Advisor; Shibetoshi Nakamoto (Billy), Dogecoin co-founder and advisor for Community and Memes; and Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum co-founder and advisor for Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, who will provide critical insights across specific strategic domains.
