TechFlow news — On August 4, cryptocurrency investment platform Aspen Digital announced the completion of an $8.8 million Pre-A funding round, co-led by RIT Capital Partners (LON: RCP), the UK-based investment flagship of Baron Jacob Rothschild of the Rothschild family, and New York-based venture capital firm Liberty City Ventures. The round also saw participation from Cherubic Ventures, Token Bay Capital, and Somerley Capital.
Aspen Digital addresses pain points faced by traditional investment institutions and family offices by leveraging advanced technology to integrate and enhance a wide range of industry crypto asset investment services, positioning itself as the most comprehensive crypto asset investment management platform available.
The newly raised funds will be used to expand the core team and establish new offices in key financial centers. In addition to its current Hong Kong office, Aspen Digital plans to set up a second headquarters in London later this year to serve clients across Europe and the Middle East. The company also intends to open a Singapore office serving Southeast Asia.
