TechFlow news, according to Bloomberg, hybrid blockchain platform Cypherium has joined Société Générale's Startup-Studio program as a member. Société Générale's Startup-Studio aims to identify innovative companies bringing disruptive solutions to the financial sector, and currently includes over 30 pioneering firms.
In May this year, the French central bank partnered with Société Générale to successfully test a digital euro on a blockchain. Cypherium will now collaborate with Société Générale on exploration and development in the area of CBDCs.
Cypherium is a high-performance hybrid blockchain platform designed to meet enterprise-grade application requirements. Its current partners include IBM, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, IC3, OMFIF—the global central banking think tank—and Randstad, the world's largest human resources company.
