TechFlow news — DeFi project Yam Finance (YAM) tweeted that it is urgently investigating a potential vulnerability that could prevent the execution of a governance proposal. It strongly advised users to exit the Uniswap YAM/yCRV pool before the rebase at 8:00 UTC (16:00 Beijing time). The team later issued another warning: if the governance proposal fails to pass, the yCRV accumulated during the rebase will be at risk of becoming unmovable. Earlier reports indicated that the voting threshold for the YAM rebalancing mechanism bug fix had been met, with over 160,000 tokens delegated. According to data disclosed by the official Yam Finance Twitter account, YAM holders have delegated 173,635 tokens, giving the protocol a chance to successfully modify the contract, fix the bug, and continue operations. However, YAM officials emphasized this does not mean YAM has been "saved." The governance proposal will be submitted between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM Beijing time, and therefore will not be executed before 3:00 PM Beijing time.
