ASM International's third-quarter revenue reached 1.1 billion euros, higher than the average analyst expectation of 1.04 billion euros.
According to Bloomberg, Dutch semiconductor equipment manufacturer ASM International NV issued third-quarter revenue guidance, expecting quarterly revenue ending in September (at constant exchange rates) to reach 1.1 billion euros (approximately 1.3 billion US dollars), plus or minus 5%, higher than the analysts' average expectation of 1.04 billion euros. However, although the guidance exceeded market expectations, the company's stock performance remained flat, failing to elicit a positive response from investors. Analysts pointed out that this reflects that current market expectations for beneficiaries of the AI computing power investment boom have risen significantly, and simply "beating expectations" is no longer sufficient to boost market sentiment.
