According to Bloomberg, Malaysia's Ministry of Digital and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) announced the withdrawal of official support for "Malaysia Blockchain Week 2026". This was due to the appearance of a former OnlyFans creator in the promotional materials for the event's party, triggering strong public backlash in this Muslim-majority country. The conference was originally scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur starting this Wednesday for two days.
