According to TechFlow, on July 29, Caixin published an article titled "The Collapsing Balance Sheet of the Boxing King," which revealed that for the six individual friends who are creditors of Zou Shiming and his wife, compared to other losses, the funds invested in P2P and virtual currency are the only amounts with the possibility of recovery.

Real estate has been sold, luxury goods have been discounted, boxing gym renovations have been scrapped, and crossover projects have been shut down; these are all irreversible sunk costs. But P2P and virtual currency are different: if the platform has not yet been fully liquidated, or the wallet address is still traceable, there is theoretically room for subrogation recovery. For example, Beijing prosecutorial authorities once conducted penetrative reviews, combined with blockchain big data analysis tools to track the flow of virtual currency, and successfully recovered over 89 million yuan in illicit funds.
