Former Alibaba Vice President Jia Yangqing founded Intent Lab, launching autonomous Agent team "Fleet"

TechFlow reports that on July 29, former Alibaba Technical Vice President and Lepton AI founder Jia Yangqing announced the founding of the new company Intent Lab and launched the autonomous Agent team "Fleet", aiming to directly convert users' natural language requirements into software systems ready for production environments.

According to the introduction, users only need to describe their development Intent, and Fleet can complete the entire workflow from system architecture design, code development, and infrastructure deployment to testing, quality validation, and performance optimization, with the goal not merely to generate code, but to deliver runnable production-grade software. Reportedly, Intent Lab has simultaneously showcased multiple early achievements, including the GLM-5.2 inference engine, one-time database creation, and a fully validated Agent file system.
