However, in terms of value, overall losses remain lower than the same period last year, mainly because a $1.5 billion attack incident occurred at Bybit in 2025, raising the baseline.

However, in terms of amount, overall losses remain lower than the same period last year, mainly because a $1.5 billion attack on Bybit occurred in 2025, raising the base.
Blockaid pointed out that North Korea-linked hackers were the largest source of stolen funds in the first half of the year, involving a $285 million attack on Drift and a $292 million attack on KelpDAO, totaling nearly $600 million. By chain, Ethereum and Solana were affected most severely, with losses reaching $332 million and $326 million respectively. Additionally, the report predicts that AI-related attack incidents will increase in the coming months.
