Galaxy announced that it has acquired approximately 500 acres of land in McGregor, Texas, USA, for the construction of an artificial intelligence and high-performance computing data center campus. The project's initial development scale is expected to reach 74 megawatts, with power supply planned to commence in 2028. Subsequently, upon completion of new power transmission infrastructure, the campus is expected to expand to hundreds of megawatts before 2030.

TechFlow reports that on July 28, Galaxy announced it has acquired approximately 500 acres of land in McGregor, Texas, USA, for the construction of an AI and high-performance computing data center campus. The initial development scale of the project is expected to reach 74 megawatts, with power supply planned to begin in 2028. Subsequently, after the completion of new power transmission infrastructure, the campus is expected to expand to hundreds of megawatts before 2030.

According to the disclosure, the project will feature a private substation built by the company, adopt a closed-loop cooling system, and is expected to bring land transfer revenue, expand the tax base, and create new jobs for the local area.
