South Korea's KOSPI Index drops below 6,000 points, down over 30% from its June peak

South Korea's KOSPI index widened losses in the late session, plunging 11% intraday, falling below 6,000 points for the first time since April 14, and down more than 30% from its June peak. SK Hynix fell more than 14%, and Samsung Electronics fell more than 13%. (Jin10)
