According to VentureBurn, physical AI robotics company Enigma announced the completion of a $71 million seed funding round, jointly led by Index Ventures and Ribbit Capital, with participation from Conviction Partners and notable individuals from AI organizations such as OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, xAI, and Cognition. This funding round comes only 11 months after the company's founding, making it one of the largest seed funding rounds in the physical AI sector. The raised funds will be used to expand the research and engineering teams, enhance computing infrastructure, and drive the deployment of AI-driven technologies in more real-world scenarios.
