Aave Founder: CLARITY Act Enters "Last Mile"; If Passed, Will Bring Positive Impact to DeFi

Aave founder Stani stated in a post on platform X that there is a greater need than ever before for consensus among all parties in the industry to make every effort to promote the smooth passage of the U.S. CLARITY Act. Although the bill is not perfect at present and many detailed rules still need to be formulated by regulators in the future, it will become the first regulatory legislation involving DeFi, providing a clear legal framework and regulatory certainty for institutions, fintech companies, and banks to participate in on-chain finance. Once formally passed, the driving effect it brings to the on-chain finance ecosystem is expected to be similar to the development opportunities previously brought by the GENIUS Act to the stablecoin industry, attracting more investment and institutional capital into the on-chain sector. Over the past year, especially in recent weeks and days, the Aave team has been maintaining close communication with relevant policymakers in Washington, D.C., U.S., and has currently entered the "last mile" of promoting the implementation of the bill; this stage is crucial.
