TechFlow reports, July 26. According to X user DI (@Start16Start), he previously worked at BitMart and is now a WEEX employee. After BitMart released the announcement to cease operations, DI posted that as someone who was once inside the company, seeing BitMart shut down was "not surprising".

DI accused BitMart of impacting salary disbursement by setting unachievable KPIs for employees in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, and stated that the company has long suffered from internal management issues, including arrears on employee salaries and bonuses, as well as failing to fulfill promises made to employees, traders, and KOLs.

DI stated that persistent internal issues were the main reason for his choice to leave BitMart and to keep key partners away from the platform. He said that one week before BitMart announced the shutdown, he still heard BitMart CEO Nenter Chow speak at a conference in Hong Kong, but until the platform ceased operations, the team was still attempting to secure funds from users and partners.

DI also stated that moving to WEEX was the best decision he made, and noted that WEEX differs significantly from BitMart in terms of maintaining relationships with employees, traders, and partners.
