Musk says Grok 4.6 will be released within two weeks, 4.7 to follow within four weeks

TechFlow reports that on July 25, Musk announced xAI will release Grok 4.6 within two weeks and Grok 4.7 within four weeks. This intensive release schedule is relatively rare in the industry. It is currently unclear whether 4.7 is an upgraded replacement version for 4.6; if so, the lifecycle of 4.6 may be only two weeks; another possibility is that the two versions are positioned differently and complement each other.
