TechFlow News, July 22, according to Bitcoin.com reports, Ethereum Improvement Proposal EIP-8222 aims to adopt a STARK-based cryptographic scheme to weaken the traceable link between staking deposit addresses, validators, and withdrawal credentials, to enhance on-chain privacy for institutional stakers.
Sygnum Bank stated that this move may help attract more institutions to participate in staking, but may also bring higher execution costs, slower asset operation processes, and additional compliance and audit requirements. The proposal is currently still in the discussion stage, and the launch time has not been determined yet.
