TechFlow reports, July 21, according to South Korea's "Seoul Economic Daily", the Democratic Party of Korea urged the Financial Services Commission (FSC) to conduct key monitoring on single-stock leveraged ETFs and formulate supplementary measures if necessary. On that day, Democratic Party of Korea lawmakers belonging to the National Assembly Policy Committee held a party-government seminar with the Financial Services Commission at the National Assembly on Yeouido, Seoul, and heard work reports from officials including FSC Chairman Lee Eok-won.
Park Sang-hyuk, a Democratic Party of Korea lawmaker and Director of the ruling party for the National Assembly Policy Committee, told reporters after the meeting: "The Financial Services Commission reported on the relevant measures announced last Thursday. Lawmakers generally require regulatory authorities to further strengthen market monitoring and situation assessment, and if necessary, should study the launch of more supplementary measures."
